"When God Sees the Heart"
God sees, values and works through every part of our life🌷
As we close out Week Four of our Lent study, we’ve had the opportunity to spend time in the story of Leah — a woman whose life reminds us that God sees, values, and works through every part of our story.

Leah’s journey wasn’t the one she likely expected. She lived in a world of comparison and longed to be deeply loved. Yet in the midst of those challenges, Scripture reminds us of something beautiful: God saw Leah. (Genesis 29:31)
And when God sees us, He begins to work in ways we may not immediately recognize.
Throughout Leah’s story, we watch her heart grow. At first, she hopes her circumstances might change. But over time, something even more powerful happens — her focus shifts toward God. Instead of living in the shadow of comparison, Leah begins to recognize the goodness and presence of the Lord in her life.
When her fourth son is born, Leah says:
“This time I will praise the Lord.” (Genesis 29:35)
Those words mark a beautiful moment of faith — a heart that has learned to rest in God’s love and goodness.
And in one of the most remarkable parts of Leah’s legacy, it is through her son Judah that the line of Jesus would come. What a powerful reminder that God is always writing a greater story than we can see.
Leah’s life encourages us that even when our path looks different than we imagined, God is still working. He sees our hearts, walks with us through every season, and uses our lives in ways that reach far beyond what we may understand today.
As we reflect on Leah this week, may we be reminded that our value is found in the God who sees us, loves us, and invites us to trust Him with our story.
And like Leah, may our hearts grow to say:
“This time, I will praise the Lord.” 🌷
I look forward to stepping into week five with you.
We are walking this together. 🌷
