Week Two - Rest & Restoration

Welcome to Week Two, Sweet Friends 🌷
Psalm 23
"Walking with the Shepherd with Strength & Courage"
Weekly Memory Verse
Every week we will have a memory verse to focus on and would be great for a scripture writing.
This would be a great time to SOAP a verse.
Week Two is
"Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
~ Matthew 11:28 (CSB)
We keep carrying what was never ours to hold.
But this week is an invitation to do something different.
🌷 To pause. 🌷 To breathe
🌷 To allow yourself to be led instead of pushing aheadThe green pastures speak of provision. The still waters speak of peace.
And the restoration of our soul speaks of His deep, personal care for us.
This week, we aren’t adding more to your plate.
We’re laying things down.
Let this be the week where you stop striving to hold everything together…
and instead, let the Shepherd gently lead you into a place of true rest.
Just follow Him.

🌿 Week Two Focus: Rest & Restoration
Trusting the Shepherd to Lead Us Into Stillness
As we step into Week 2 of our Psalm 23: A Season of Rest journey, we begin to slow down.
Week 1 reminded us who our Shepherd is—
faithful, present, and fully capable of caring for us.
But now… we move from knowing who He is to experiencing what He does.
“He lets me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters;
He renews my life.” (Psalm 23:2–3, paraphrased)
There is something deeply intentional in these verses.
The Shepherd doesn’t rush His sheep.
He doesn’t drive them harder or demand more from them.
He gently leads them… to rest.
And if we’re honest, rest is often the very thing we resist.
We keep going. We keep striving.
